Can’t say enough good things about Hughes Mechanical. The sales process was great. Chad educated us on our options and kept in constant communication with us. The installation went as smooth as can be expected. Two complete systems were changed out in roughly a day and a half. That’s working hard AND smart. Tyler and Kurt were well mannered, and showed care for our home. They made sure everything was working properly and cleaned-up before their departure. Following the install, Chad called to follow up to make sure we were comfortable and happy. It's been nearly a week since the installation and the Daikin/Goodman equipment has been flawless. The outdoor units are SO quiet! Anyone with a bedroom on the same wall as their outdoor units will appreciate this reduction in noise. (In fact, the new units are so quiet, you’ll probably be upset at how loud your neighbors’ are in comparison.) They look nicer too. This particular model of outdoor unit is more compact; so they don’t stick out into the yard as much. With the mounting brackets that Hughes Mechanical recommended, the installation looks clean and professional. Inside, the new equipment slid right in place of the old. The new Daikin OneTouch thermostats are easy to use, offer all the latest smart features, and actually look nice mounted on the wall. With the settings dialed in by our techs, the house feels more comfortable too. Read Less

We had a new central air unit and an evaporator coil installed today. The guys at Hughes checked off all the boxes again! Jerry and Alan did a great job! They were friendly, did an excellent job raising the outside unit off the ground (due to tidal surge) and the evaporator coil installation was neat and clean. The entire job was done with excellence! I highly recommend their services to anyone needing help with their HVAC. We really appreciate how thorough Hughes Mechanical was with our project. They provided us estimates for two different kind of cooling systems (ductless vs. ducts) and Jason was readily available to answer any of our questions. Chad come through to do site walks before and after the installation and was also really helpful throughout the process. Our technicians Jerry and Allen were very focused and had a great rapport together. We decided to work with Hughes after having a number of neighbors recommend them and we hope we can also pass their information along to other people looking for similar services. I called Hughes Mechanical by accident while experiencing issues with my HVAC system. I had no intention of looking for them, or using their services; however, the person I spoke on the phone with was exceptionally polite and explained to me why I accidentally called (Google ad # that another company had listed). He asked what the issue was and even attempted to give basic advice over the phone at no charge. I ended up scheduling a next day appointment, as I had a good feeling this far. The next day, the service professional, DJ, showed up early and was extremely respectful about adjusting his vehicle to deal with our narrow parking. He dove right into performing his tests in my system and showed all results and walked me through what the readings mean. Unfortunately, my system was writhing optimal parameters and I may have fixed the issue by cleaning the coils myself. He gave me a brief lesson in proper cleaning techniques to ensure the coils were as clean as possible. At the end of our appointment, I owed $99 for the dispatch fee which I did NOT begrudgingly pay as I believe this interaction was absolutely worth the $99. While the contact was accidental, my continued patronage of Hughes Mechanical will not be. I look forward to future interactions with their team, if ever I should need them. Read Less
