LEAD HVAC INSTALLER – Hughes Mechanical (Forest Hill, MD)

We're looking for a Lead HVAC Installer to run residential install crews and own the quality of every job from tear-out to startup.
What you'll do:
- Lead residential system replacements and new installs (furnaces, heat pumps, AC, air handlers, ductwork)
- Run your crew day to day: plan the job, keep it moving, and train helpers
- Handle startup, commissioning, and a clean, professional handoff to the homeowner
- Keep jobs code-compliant and inspection-ready
- Communicate with the office and the homeowner so nobody's guessing
What we're looking for:
- 5–10+ years of HVAC install experience, with time leading a crew
- EPA 608 certification; Maryland HVACR license is a plus
- Solid on ductwork, line sets, brazing, electrical, and controls
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Takes pride in clean installs and treats customers' homes with respect

HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN – Hughes Mechanical (Forest Hill, MD)

We're hiring an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems and take care of our maintenance customers.
What you'll do:
- Diagnose and repair furnaces, heat pumps, AC, boilers, and air handlers
- Run seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Explain problems and options to homeowners clearly and honestly
- Keep job notes and paperwork accurate in the field
What we're looking for:
- 5–10+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- EPA 608 certification; Maryland HVACR license is a plus
- Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Respectful in customers' homes and good at explaining things

What you'll do:
- Diagnose and repair leaks, fixtures, drains, and water lines
- Install and service water heaters, including tankless
- Handle drain cleaning and sewer line work
- Walk homeowners through repair options clearly and honestly
- Keep job notes and paperwork accurate in the field
What we're looking for:
- Maryland Journeyman or Master Plumber license
- 5–10+ years of residential plumbing service experience
- Solid diagnostic skills and comfort working on your own
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Respectful in customers' homes and good at explaining things
